<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projector which can perform distortion correction of a projected image while suppressing increase of burdens to an electric circuit and a deflection optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The image projector 10 is provided with: a projection optical system 20 which forms a scanning area 13 on a projection surface 11; and a control mechanism 30 which drives and controls the deflection optical element 25 and a light source 21 based on image data 14. The control mechanism 30 corrects the image data 14 using a conversion equation for correction stored in a storage (36) so as to change an emission amount from the light source 21 to a scanning position by the deflection optical element 25 so as to correct distortion by an influence of optical characteristics in the projection optical system 20 and distortion by an influence of a projected optical axis angle θp to be formed by a reference optical axis Lb and the normal direction N of the projection surface 11 in the projection optical system 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
