<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance, and flame retardancy; and to provide an insulated wire and cable. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition includes a polyolefin resin comprising an ethylene-based polymer containing an oxygen atom in its molecular backbone, a metal hydroxide particle, and an acryloxy-based silane coupling agent, wherein the amount of the metal hydroxide particle and the acryloxy-based silane coupling agent is 50-280 pts.mass and 0.1-5 pts.mass, respectively, based on 100 pts.mass of the polyolefin resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
