Method and system for depositing coatings on cylindroid surfaces of extruded geometry. The invention comprises a vessel of cylindroid geometry with a central hole, where the surface to be coated is located, and which moves vertically along said surface, depositing the coating. The surfaces are suspended vertically by means of a supporting member that moves along a carousel. The vessel is positioned on a lower clamp that grips the workpiece, which remains fixed during the coating process. The vessel undergoes an ascending movement over the uncoated workpiece, is there filled with liquid and descends at a speed such that the coating film has the desired thickness. Upon reaching the clamp, the latter releases the workpiece, which advances on the carousel as far as an oven where the coating is sintered, dried or adhered to the workpiece.
