PURPOSE: An air diluting device for evaluating a bad-smell function and a control method thereof are provided to enable function evaluation to be accurately performed even after long-term use by preventing the components of bad smell from remaining on the pump and inlet pipe of the air diluting device. CONSTITUTION: An air diluting device for evaluating a bad-smell function comprises a closed chamger(100), a discharge pipe(120), a suction pump(300), an inlet pipe(130), a valve(400), a bad-smell gas inlet pipe(410) and a scentless-air inlet pipe(420). The closed chamber comprises a space(110) for holding a bag. The discharge pipe is connected to the space. The suction pump is installed on the discharge pipe. The inlet pipe is connected to the space. One end of the inlet pipe is coupled to the bag. The valve is coupled to the other end of the inlet pipe which is exposed to the outside of the space. One end of the bad-smell gas inlet pipe is connected to the valve.
