Disclosed is a fluorescence observation device comprising: a light source unit which is capable of emitting both a reference light and a plurality of excitation lights for exciting each of a plurality of fluorescent materials; an imaging unit for imaging the reflected light from the reference light and for imaging a plurality of fluorescences which are emitted as a result of shining the plurality of excitation lights on the plurality of fluorescent materials; an image generation unit for generating image signals in accordance with the plurality of fluorescences imaged by the imaging unit and with the reflected light from the reference light; and an image processing unit for allocating and outputting to a plurality of colour channels, a plurality of fluorescent images which relate to the image signals corresponding to the plurality of fluorescences, and a reference light image which relates to the image signals corresponding to the reflected light from the reference light.
