摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an ejection amount of liquid while ejecting the liquid by switching and connecting a plurality of voltages to a piezoelectric element which drives an ejection nozzle. SOLUTION: The liquid is ejected from the ejection nozzle by connecting a plurality of reference voltages to the piezoelectric element while switching the voltages according to drive voltage waveform data. A required time period for a plurality of waveform sections which constitute a drive voltage waveform, and a voltage at a boundary position of the waveform sections are stored in the drive voltage waveform data. In applying the drive voltage waveform to the piezoelectric element, information related to adjustment of the ejection amount of liquid is obtained, the required time period of the waveform section included in the drive voltage waveform data is changed according to the information, and then the drive voltage waveform is applied according to the obtained drive voltage waveform data, whereby the liquid is ejected.
