PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator having excellent drainage performance of condensation water generated on the surfaces of fins. SOLUTION: The evaporator includes: a pair of header tanks arranged at an interval vertically; a plurality of flat heat exchange pipes 45 which are arranged between the both header tanks with the width direction facing the fore-and-aft direction, leaving intervals in the right/left direction and have both ends connected to the header tanks; and the corrugated fins 5 arranged between the adjacent heat exchange pipes 45. Inclination parts 55 linearly inclined toward the central part in the right/left direction of the heat exchange pipe 45 outwardly in the fore-and-aft direction are provided in both right and left side portions of both front and rear end walls 45a of the heat exchange pipe 45.
