Trunked radio system on the basis of a VoIP protocol and corresponding operating method

The system (100) has a trunked radio-terminal (101) standing in contact with base stations (102) via a trunked radio-air interface (105). A communication connector is provided for exchange of information, which is transmitted between base stations via a transport network or transmission network. The transmission network is based on an internet-protocol, and location administration of the terminal is implemented via a presence service, which is standardized for the internet-protocol. The base stations are controlled by a cluster-control unit (103). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a trunked radio system.
