A damper (3) for a furniture pullout guide comprises a body rail and a running rail (1) and optionally a pullout-extending center rail (2). The damper (3) comprises a housing which is fastened on the running rail (1) or the body rail and located in the displacement path of the center rail (2) or the running rail (1) and which can be elastically deformed at least in the displacement direction of the running rail (1) and has a chamber, which absorbs a force in the pullout direction. Thus effective damping is achieved. |
