PURPOSE: A diaphragm for a speaker and manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain excellent environment-friendly effects using red algae pulp. CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm for a speaker is made of materials including fiber extracted from red algae. The materials of the diaphragm are in a pulp state. At least one of wood pulp or synthetic pulp is mixed with fiber extracted from red algae to form the materials of the diaphragm. The weight of the fiber extracted from the red algae is heavier than 10weight% of the total fiber weight of mixed pulp.
