HETERO JUCTION TYPE SOLAR CELL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A hetero junction solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of a solar cell by preventing defects on the surface of a semiconductor wafer. CONSTITUTION: A first semiconductor layer(200) is formed on one side of a semiconductor wafer. A second semiconductor layer(500) is formed on the other side of the semiconductor wafer and has a different polarity from the first semiconductor layer. A first electrode(400) is formed on the first semiconductor layer. A second electrode is formed on the second semiconductor layer. The first semiconductor layer is comprised of a low doped first semiconductor layer(210) and a high doped first semiconductor layer(230). The high doped first semiconductor layer is formed on the low doped first semiconductor layer.
