A process for expanding of intercalated graphite comprises its treatment with chemical compound, able to exothermal reaction, with further initiation of exothermal reaction. The intercalated graphite is mixed at least with one expanded agent. As expanded agent pyrotechnical mixture or substance is used, giving high temperature at exothermal reaction, or substance, able to the explosive decomposition. |
