A COATING COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM PLATING POISON AND A PRODUCTION METHOD OF COATING COMPOSITION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A coating composition for neutralizing the toxicity of hexavalent chromium is provided to neutralize and reduce hexavalent chromium remaining on the surface of a cement structure. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition for neutralizing the toxicity of hexavalent chromium comprises the steps of: stirring R'xSi(OR)y (x+y=4), ethanol, TEOS(Tetraethylorthosilicate), acid, DI water in a molar ratio of 1 : 0.1~5: 0.01~6 : 0.01~0.8 : 1~9 at room temperature for 6 hours; adding 0.01g/l~ 10g/l sodium bisulfite(NaHSO3) to the mixture and stirring the mixture for hour; and adding 0.01~1wt% of lauryldimethylamine oxide as an amphoteric surface active agent and stirring the mixture for 30 minutes.
