An image recognition method, for example a fingerprint where sample image is checked out, generated in the same format according to colour and size of elementary particles (for example, points) with base sample images. Then the inspected sample two-dimensional image is scanned by two ways of base image parts with cyclic change of current positions inside these base sample images throughout their square or a fragment as well as in the coordinates. The series cyclic comparison of elementary particles of base images and inspected sample is performed. Two match arrays is generated with array characteristics fixed while registering matches, in amount one can make a conclusion of hit rates of parts of image base and a sample under test and determine image ownership to be controlled to the sample from apriori preset base set.
