PURPOSE: A rope skipping device is provided to enable a user to skip a rope in the late evening by emitting light. CONSTITUTION: A rope skipping device comprises a handle, a skipping rope, a generating unit(100), an electricity accumulating unit, a light emitting unit, and a switching unit. The skipping rope is integrally connected to the handle. The generating unit generates current by the electromagnetic induction inside the handle. The electricity accumulating unit stores current generated by the generating unit. The light emitting unit emits light by being provided with electricity or current. The switching unit controls in order to selectively supply the inducing current created from the generating unit or the electricity stored in the electricity accumulating unit to the light emitting unit.
