PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to stably prevent the increase of an electrode group and to discharge gas to a space between a cap plate and a blocking plate. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) includes: an electrode group(10) including a positive electrode(11), a negative electrode(12) and a separator(13) arranged between the positive and negative electrodes; a case in which the electrode group is housed; a cap assembly(20) including a cap-plate(30) coupled with an opening of the case and a vent member(39) which is installed in the cap plate and discharges gas; and a member(40) which separates a cap plate and an electrode group and prevents the lifting of the electrode group. |
