PURPOSE: A cylindrical secondary battery is provided to suppress the breakage and damage of positive and negative electrode tabs by preventing the movement of an electrode assembly in a vibration and shock condition of a cylindrical cell. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical secondary battery(100) comprises: an electrode assembly wound by interposing a separator between a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate; a cylindrical can(20) in which the electrode assembly is housed with electrolyte; and an cap assembly(30) assembled in the upper end of the can. The cylindrical secondary battery further includes a fixing member(40) located at the side of the can to fix the position of the electrode assembly.
