The differential has a casing (1) enclosing two gear assemblies constituted of toothed wheels i.e. gears (6, 7), meshing with each other and of internally and externally toothed crown wheels (20, 21). Flanges support the crown wheels and rotate in free wheels on two axles (35, 36) or third and fourth axles (4, 5). Fifth and sixth axles (14, 15) are fixed on the flanges at 120 degrees, and small planet gears (8, 9, 11, 12) are mounted on the axles. The crown wheels are connected by a small gear (28).
