The device i.e. bottle holder (1), has side walls (7, 8) articulately connected with a bottom part (2) by bottom joints (24, 25). One wall includes an upper wall piece (10) and a lower wall piece (9), which are interconnected by a wall joint (11). A joint axis of the other side wall is arranged parallel to a joint axis of the wall joint such that the device is transferred from a folded up condition into a usage condition. The device is made of plastic i.e. PVC, paper and/or paperboard or firm materials i.e. metal. A front wall is pivotedly connected with the bottom part and/or the side walls.
