PURPOSE: A digital relay capable of setting a delay time and a method for a processing input signal in the digital relay are provided to prevent a malfunction of a product due to external noise and voltage drop by setting an output delay time. CONSTITUTION: In a digital relay capable of setting a delay time and a method for a processing input signal in the digital relay, a signal input unit receives the detection voltage and current from the each phase of three-phase power and drops the voltage of an input signal. A digital input unit removes high frequency noise from the dropped input signal. An analog to digital converter(120) converts the analog signal from the digital input unit into a digital signal. A set delay time input unit(140) stores a predetermined set time to supply a reference delay time. A controller compares the predetermined delay time with a variation maintaining time when the input signal is changed, and it determines whether the input signal is abnormal according to a comparison result. |
