PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storable steamer basket formed by vertically stacking a plurality of steamer basket bodies 11. SOLUTION: An opening 12 is formed in he top end of a steamer basket body, the circumferential edge of the opening is so formed that a flange 13 is protruded therefrom, a recessed groove 15 is annularly provided in the outer circumference near the bottom end of the steamer basket body, and a retaining ring 16 is further fitted around the outer circumference of the steamer basket body. When the retaining ring of the steamer basket body is fixed to the recessed groove, the retaining ring of the steamer basket body comes into contact with the upper part of the flange of another steamer basket body, so that the respective steamer basket bodies are formed into a mutually stacked form. Alternatively, when the retaining ring is removed from the recessed groove and positioned in the flange lower part, the steamer basket body is smoothly stored in the inside of the other steamer basket body without being obstructed by the retaining ring.
