<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-containing coloring composition for a color filter, which has excellent heat resistance and light resistance, and to provide a color filter, a method for manufacturing the color filter, a liquid crystal display device and an organic EL display. <P>SOLUTION: The coloring composition for a color filter is composed of a color material, a binder resin, a photoinitiator, a photopolymerizable compound, and an organic solvent. In the composition, at least one dye is contained as the color material, at least one photoinitiator selected from among α-hydroxyalkylphenones, α-aminoalkylphenones, benzyl ketals, and borates is contained as a photoinitiator, a thioxanthone-based initiator is contained as a photosensitizer in the photoinitiator, and the dye is a basic dye or a cationic dispersion dye. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
