<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus capable of performing correct image communication by surely detecting the missing state of received image information caused by a packet loss, in the image communication apparatus using a T.38 communication function. <P>SOLUTION: A T.38 IFP packet control portion 111 counts a total number of received packets and a total number of loss packets in IFP packets when receiving image information. Also, an image communicating control portion 109 calculates a packet loss ratio when receiving image information from a rate of the total number of loss packets to the total number of received packets by acquiring the total number of received packets and the total number of loss packets when receiving image information from the T.38 IFP packet control portion 111 by receiving a post message showing the end of image information reception, and switches an MCF signal (message confirming signal), an RTP signal (retraining positive signal) and an RTN signal (retraining negative signal) to return them to the apparatus at a transmitting side in response to the post message in accordance with the packet loss ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
