PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a shift operation feeling to a fifth speed stage when running at high speed in a synchronizing device equipped with a lever member and having a function for preventing rattle of a backward stage gear. SOLUTION: The lever member 24 is provided between a hub 12, a sleeve 20 and a synchronous ring 22. In the case of moving the sleeve 20 toward a shift gear 18, the synchronous ring 22 is pushed to the shift gear 18 for synchronization through a spline 22c of the synchronous ring 22, and in the case of moving the sleeve 20 in a direction opposite to the shift gear 18, the synchronous ring 20 is pushed to the shift gear 18 for synchronization by a reverse operation of the lever member 24. A high-speed stage tilt surface 20g of the sleeve abuts to a top 24a of the lever member 24 until the sleeve 20 directly pushes the spline 22c of the synchronous ring 22.
