PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contact point of a second movable contactor from loss by arc without lowering a breaking performance. SOLUTION: A repulsion type circuit breaker is equipped with a first movable contactor 3 and the second movable contactor 15. At a tip of the second movable contactor 15, a protrusion portion 15c is mounted more projected than a contact surface of a second movable contact 15a. By moving an arc generated at a second movable contact 15a side from the second movable contact 15a to the protrusion portion 15c, loss of the contact 15a of the second movable contactor 15 is prevented.
