PURPOSE: An electric power generation apparatus using biomass is provided to improve thermal efficiency by heat exchange which is generated by an endoergic water jacket and a residual heat water jacket. CONSTITUTION: An electric power generation apparatus using biomass comprises a raw material supply unit, a furnace(7), a jetting pipe(8), a heat exchanger, a power generating unit, and an exhaust pipe(34). The raw material supply unit transfers the biomass. The biomass transferred from the raw material supply unit is burnt. The jetting pipe dies of resentment the water inside furnace. The heat exchanger is placed on the top of a furnace. A thermal medium circulates in the heat exchanger and exchanges heat with the inside of the furnace. The power generating unit receives heated thermal medium and generates electricity. The exhaust pipe connects the furnace and the outside, thereby discharging combustion gas.
