PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven hand using electricity as a driving source, which is compact, needs reduced consumption power and is convenient to use. SOLUTION: A solenoid hand includes a hand driving part using an electromagnetic solenoid, a clamping part comprising a pair of master jaws for opening/closing, and a conversion part for converting motion of the solenoid into open/close motion of the clamping part. The electromagnetic solenoid incorporates a magnet to constitute a latch-type solenoid for sucking to hold a plunger. The plunger is positioned so that the clamping part is located for opening when the solenoid sucks to hold. The clamping part is driven for sucking to hold by suction force of the solenoid from the closed position to the open position, and driven by spring force of a spring mechanism from the open position to the closed position. The solenoid hand is structured such that suction force and sucking-to-hold force of the solenoid are specified to be larger than the spring force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
