A WINDOW CONSTRUCTION AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING THE WINDOW CONSTRUCTION

A window construction (1) arranged for being mounted upon a preferably inclined roof having an under roof (34). The window construction (1) comprises a frame (3) with an upper edge (10) delimiting an embrasure (9). The under roof is formed with an opening (44) in an area below the frame. Upon the inner side of the frame (3) is attached a partition, which is extending down to and is delimiting the opening (44) in the under roof (34). Upon the inner side of the frame (3) is placed a lining (22) of a stiff material. The window construction can easily be build onto an inclined roof without risking that water from snow and rain at any time penetrates into the underlying roof construction.
