PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously generate a plurality of multi-light frequency carriers which are different in center optical frequency while making the carriers be phase-synchronized with one another by using one multi-light frequency carrier generator. SOLUTION: An optical phase synchronized wide-band light source includes: a light frequency comb generation means 12 for generating light frequency combs having predetermined frequency intervals and synchronized in phase with one another; a plurality of stabilized CW light source 20 for outputting a plurality of CW light beams different in optical frequency; a means 16 for multiplexing these CW light beams; a generator 17 for inputting the multiplexed CW light beams and for generating multi-light frequency carriers having a plurality of optical frequency components with mutually different bands from each CW light; a means 18 for multiplexing a portion of power of the plurality of multiplexed CW light beams and the light-frequency combs; and a multi-optical phase detection circuit 19 for feedback-controlling a plurality of stabilized CW light sources so as to detect light obtained by multiplexing the plurality of CW light beams and the light-frequency combs and synchronize the light-frequencies/phases of the plurality of CW light beams and those pertinent to the light-frequency combs.
