<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of readily notifying a user of detail contents of moving picture data without expanding the display area. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes a displaying section for displaying a thumbnail being a representative image of moving picture data on a screen, in each of moving picture data recorded in a memory; an operating section for accepting a position designated by the user on the screen as an operation position to the thumbnail of the operation target displayed on the screen; and an image processing section for specifying a time point corresponding to the operation position as a designation time point in a reproduction time of the moving picture data, corresponding to the thumbnail of the operation target, generating a new thumbnail by using an image to be reproduced at the designation time point of the moving picture data, and displaying the new thumbnail on the displaying part, in place of the thumbnail of the operation target displayed on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
