PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide endothelin-1 production inhibitors, serine protease inhibitors andα-melanocyte stimulation hormone inhibitors of natural origin, which are inexpensive, safe and highly active. SOLUTION: There are provided endothelin-1 production inhibitors containing a Sargassum fusiforme hot water extract as an active ingredient, serine protease inhibitors containing a Sargassum fusiforme hot water extract as an active ingredient, andα-melanocyte stimulation hormone inhibitors containing an Eucheuma denticulatum hot water extract as an active ingredient, all of which are medicaments for inhibiting melanogenic in-vivo substances.
