TREATMENT METHOD AND TREATMENT EQUIPMENT FOR EXCESS AMMONIACAL LIQUOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and a treatment equipment for excess ammoniacal liquor by which the capability decrease and deterioration of wastewater treatment facilities having an ammoniacal liquor stripper can be prevented and the maintenance load can be lessened by removing trace amounts of tar components and light oil components such as naphthalene contained in the excess ammoniacal liquor generated in the refining process for coke furnace gas. SOLUTION: The excess ammoniacal liquor generated in the refining process for a coke furnace gas is detoxicated by being supplied to wastewater treatment facilities having an ammoniacal liquor stripper 8-1. Before being supplied to the ammoniacal liquor stripper 8-1, the excess ammoniacal liquor is led via a separation plate type centrifugal separator 16 and a static separation tank 17 (or an activated carbon tank 18).
