<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPLS device for reducing maintenance work by achieving a function of automatically solving a MAC address of the next hop, in a method of constituting an LSP by static route setting. <P>SOLUTION: The MPLS device (1) includes: an ARP table (15) for setting a static LSP in the MPLS network for registering an IP address and an MAC address therein as entries; and an ARP automatic solution unit 13 configured to detect an entry corresponding to an IP address of the next hop by referring to the ARP table when the IP address of the device and that of the next hop are set, transmit an ARP packet to acquire the MAC address of the next hop when there is no entry corresponding to the IP address of the next hop, and periodically update the entry when the entry is registered in the ARP table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
