PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polymerized toner, capable of acquiring a particulate colorant dispersion liquid-type monomer mixture acquired by dispersing uniformly and finely a colorant into a polymeric monomer. SOLUTION: The method has a dispersion step of acquiring the particulate colorant dispersion liquid-type monomer mixture by dispersing the colorant into the polymeric mixture including the polymeric monomer, synergist, and an electron-donating compound which can coordinate to the synergist. In the dispersion process, liquid is sent to a media type disperser and dispersed. The disperser includes a media particle separation separator 37 and a rotating rotor 35 inside a cylindrical container 2 including a liquid introduction port 29 and a liquid discharge port 30. The cylindrical container is filled with a plurality of media particles 38, and a particle size of the media particles and an aperture ratio of the separation separator satisfy following expression 1 and expression 2: expression 1; 0.20 mm≤(media particle size)≤0.50 mm, expression 2; 5≤(aperture ratio/media particle size)≤49, wherein the aperture ratio is expressed in percents, and the media particle size is expressed in millimeters.
