PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeglass lens which is more fashionable and is imparted with a more efficient glare-proof function. SOLUTION: The eyeglass lens 10 has a high light-transmitting region 12 including an eye point 11 (eye position when a user wears the eyeglasses, a position of the pupil center or a fitting point), and a low light-transmitting region 14 disposed so as to enclose at least three sides of upper, lower, right and left sides of the high light-transmitting region 12, the low light-transmitting region 14 having a higher light-shielding rate than that in the high light-transmitting region 12.
