The damper has a damping part (1) rotated around a common axis, where the damping part includes a flange part (2) that is made of sheet metal by a forming process. A stamping part (5) is supported and inserted into an embossing part (3) of the flange part in an action direction of coil springs. The stamping part includes a flat contact surface with a raised profile that is inserted into a counter profile stamped in the flange part. The raised profile is extended opposite to a rivet part (10) in a region of radial height in a circumferential direction. An independent claim is also included for a torque transmission device comprising a circulating groove.
