<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material which enables an image having clear contrast to be formed and erased, has good color developing sensitivity and has excellent high-speed erasability. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermosensitive recording material includes, on a support, a dye precursor usually having no color or pale color and a reversible color developer for forming a relatively color-developed state and a color-faded state according to difference of heating temperature and/or of cooling speed after heating.
