<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode driving device which reduces a terminal noise voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting diode driving device has a light-emitting diode 2 to which a voltage is impressed from a voltage source; a choke coil 3 connected in series with the light-emitting diode 2; a rectifier diode 4, connected in parallel with the light-emitting diode 2 and a choke coil 4 and supplies a counter-electromotive force generated in the choke coil 3 to the light-emitting diode 2; and a switching drive circuit 5, having a switching element 6 which determines the impression/non-impression of the current on the light-emitting diode 2 and a control circuit block 7 which controls the current flowing in the light-emitting diode 2, by controlling the on/off timing of the switching element 6.
