PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more realistically provide a technology for enabling detailed guidance for an intersection where one tends to deviate a route, by solving problems wherein guidance is not performed properly even at an intersection where one easily deviates from a route actually since the intersection may differ from an intersection where one easily deviates from a route actually because of a subsequent change, or the like in road conditions since an intersection for performing detailed guidance has been located before manufacturing a navigation apparatus and creating map data although there is a technology for performing detailed guidance for traveling within the intersection when approaching a prescribed intersection where one easily deviates from a route. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus includes: an additional guidance information reception means receiving guidance information related to a prescribed position transmitted from an external device as additional guidance information; and a guide means of performing guidance by the additional guidance information.
