CONCENTRATOR REFLECTOR FOR PUBLIC ILLUMINATION.

A concentrator reflector for public illumination which complies with the RP-8 recommendation and uses less electric power; the same is made of aluminium with a predetermined surface finish of high reflectance. The reflector has 4 pieces which assemble and form the reflector, one of the particularities thereof is that it may be operated in two embodiments: The first embodiment generates long distance illumination and a diffuse to mirror image reflecting effect, this is called Multireflecting System of high reflectance. The second embodiment called Mobile Concentrator System is intended to collect the radiation from the arc chamber of the lamp and transfer it as a virtual image of the arc chamber to a special zone of the inner piece of the reflector so as to obtain an arrangement and a reflector efficiency similar to that of three lamps. Said concentrators have a mobile mechanism so as to correct the illumination towards the road in each horizontal movement of the lamp.
