A smoke box 15 has an inlet socket 16 in one side wall for connection to the outlet pipe 13 of an oil-fired heater 10, and an outlet pipe 17 in an adjacent side wall to connect to a smoke extraction duct (not shown). A deflection plate 19 is inserted between the inlet and outlet pipes. The socket 16 is a close fit in or around pipe 13 to allow rotation of the smoke box 15 when the system is cool, whereby the pipe 17 may be horizontally or vertically directed.</p> |
