PURPOSE: An operating method of a portable terminal is provided to simplify unnecessary terminal operation process. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal checks removal of a previously inserted SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card(409). The portable terminal checks reinsertion of the same SIM card or insertion of another SIM card(415). According at least one among a kind and insertion time of the inserted SIM card, the portable terminal performs a protocol procedure related on base station based on a newly inserted SIM card(417). |
