FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to treatment of drilling wastes, e.g. to disposal of drilling mud. Proposed unit consists of vertical set made up of mixer and crusher with its top having inlets for mud, binder, admixtures, water and steam. Intermediate storage zone is arranged below outlet. Said zone has first conical inner cover to direct mix downward toward peripheral inlet of granulator representing a cone tapered upward. Said granulator serves to crush, thicken, harden, granulate and transfer said mix upward along first helical channel toward central outlet and into first storage tank provided with second outlet. Second intermediate storage zone is arranged below said second outlet to direct the mix downward toward second granulator inlet to transfer the mix upward along second helical channel toward central third outlet arranged at second granulator and directing second storage tank and outlet for storage or disposal. Invention covers also method of drilling mud treatment and application of integrated unit at marine drilling platform. ^ EFFECT: safe treatment of drilling wastes, higher efficiency, reduced overall dimensions. ^ 8 cl, 3 dwg |
