A METHOD FOR PROMOTING RESISTANCE AGAINST BIOLOGICAL OR ABIOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS IN PLANTS

PURPOSE: A method for enhancing environmental stress-resistance of a plant is provided to obtain a transgenic plant with high stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for enhancing environmental stress-resistance of a plant comprises a step of transforming MSR 4(Methionine sulfoxide reductase 4) gene and HSP 70(heat shock protein 70) gene to a plant. A method for screening a material enhancing stress resistance of the plants comprises: a step of treating a candidate material to plant cells or chloroplast containing HSP 70; and a step of applying environmental stress under the presence and absence of the candidate material to measure HSP 70 expression level. The HSP 70 expression level is measured by 2DE(Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis) or western blotting.
