PURPOSE: Device and method of controlling an EBL relay for a vehicle are provided to prevent hardware damage due to long use of the EBL relay by informing a user of the occurrence of an abnormal state since a control algorithm is formed through feedback control to determine the suitability of a control signal. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for controlling an EBL relay for a vehicle comprises a switch(110), a micro computer(120), a drive control unit(130), a drive feedback unit(140), a driving drive(150) and a current sensor(160). The switch turns on/off the EBL relay controlling device. The micro computer is electrically connected to the switch. The drive control unit transfers a control signal to the driving drive to control the operation of the driving drive if the control signal is applied through the micro computer. The feedback unit is electrically connected to the drive control unit and determines the state of the control signal to feedback to the micro computer if the control signal is applied from the drive control unit.
