PURPOSE: Processed sulfur using sodium carbonate, and a producing method thereof are provided to secure the excellent homogeneity and the reproducibility of the processed sulfur. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of processed sulfur using sodium carbonate comprises the following steps: crushing sulfur into particles with the size bigger than 100meshes; slowly inserting the obtained sulfur powder into a reactor at 80~90deg C; maintaining the condition of the reactor for longer than 60minutes, and slowly stirring; rapidly cooling the molten sulfur; adding the sodium carbonate to the cooled sulfur, and stirring for more than 30minutes; precipitating the obtained solution for 2hours, and removing surface liquid; adding ethanol to the precipitate; dehydrating the obtained slurry using a vacuum dehydrator; and drying the dehydrated slurry at 60~80deg C.
