The roof (1) has a parallelepipedic panel (10) mounted on a fixed part of a vehicle adjacent to a boot (2), and another parallelepipedic panel (11) mounted on the former panel, where an actuation unit of the two panels selectively authorizes retracted, deployed and partial opening positions of the roof. A passenger compartment of the vehicle is covered by the roof in the deployed position, where the roof releases a space in the partial opening position to facilitate an access to the passenger compartment. The latter panel includes a locking unit to lock the roof in the deployed position.
