[Also in Division G3] A watch bracelet 12 has a circular hole surrounded by a hollow bead 13 into which annular ribs 8, 9 of the watch case are inserted by deforming the bead over the ribs. The deforming of the bead may take place whilst the bead is hot, for example when the ribs 8, 9 of the case are being welded together. The bracelet is preferably made of plastics material and may be a continuous resilient band or it may have a buckle at its ends. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, the bracelet 48 comprises a bead 50 which grips the ribs of the case and has slits 55 arranged in a herringbone fashion. An element 57 of synthetic hook fabric and an element 56 of synthetic eye fabric are secured at each end of the bracelet which is moulded from flexible plastics material. |
