<p>A PAPR determining apparatus (10) comprising a detection unit (11) and a PAPR determining unit (12). The detection unit (11) detects a change in a predetermined value which is a factor in causing the saturation power of a power amplifier (20) to fluctuate. If a change in the predetermined value is detected by the detection unit (11), the PAPR determining unit (12) determines a PAPR value that corresponds to the saturation power of the power amplifier (20). Specifically, the PAPR determining unit (12) sets as an initial value, a PAPR value which is determined so as to match the saturation power of the power amplifier (20) is the smallest. Further, the PAPR determining unit (12) increases the PAPR setting value in steps, while searching for the maximum PAPR setting value.</p> |
