PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive aseismic steel structure capable of preventing collapse of the whole building, even when a situation of breaking one knee brace is generated at the time of unexpected big earthquake. SOLUTION: This frame reinforcement structure is reinforced by laying a knee brace material 5 having damper performance ranging over from a column 1 to a girder 2, in the vicinity of a column girder junction part B constituted by rigid-joining the column 1 to the girder 2 comprising a steel material, the knee brace material 5 is constituted to yield in prior to the column 1 and the girder 2, and the column-girder joint part B is joined with holding yield strength junction having a yield strength exceeding total plastic yield strength of the column 1 and the girder 2, in the frame reinforcement structure.
